RISON - Rison Shine Community Development, Inc. will host this year’s Halloween Trunk-or-Treat event on Main Street in Rison Saturday, Oct. 31 at 5:30 p.m.

Vehicles can begin setting up at 4:30 p.m. with decorated trunks in the 300 block of Main Street.

All community groups, businesses, churches and families are invited to set up and distribute candy on Halloween.

Rison Shine is accepting donations of candy for the event. Candy can be dropped off at the Cleveland County Herald office, 215 Main Street.

If it rains Saturday evening, the event will move indoors at the Pioneer Village, 200 Yaney Drive with candy stations instead of trunks.
