Burns Resigns 'Effective Immediately' as Kingsland City Attorney

    Kingsland City Attorney Thomas Burns informed the Herald through an email this afternoon (Friday, Aug. 14) that he was resigning his position as Kingsland City Attorney effective immediately. 

    Burns offered no comment on his decision. The Herald reached out to Kingsland Mayor Samantha Johnson about the resignation but was unable to reach her.

    Burns also serves as the Rison City Attorney.
