KINGSLAND - Kingsland Mayor Samantha Johnson said she and Kingsland Water Operator Mark Allen will be going to those addresses with delinquent water bills starting today (Thursday, July 30) to alert them that their water will be shut off on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
The mayor announced during the Kingsland City Council meeting this month that the city will be shutting off water to any customer with a delinquent water bill on Wednesday, Aug. 5. She said the balances must be paid in full since the city’s financial software cannot create payment plans for unpaid bills.
Those who are not home when they visit should expect to see a yellow door hanger alerting them of the shut off, Johnson said.
