Limited Tickets for Next Week's Dancing with Rison Starz, Firemen Dinner Show

RISON - With just over a week left to go, things are heating up for the "Dancing with the Rison Starz and Firemen" dinner and competition set for next Friday, July 25 at the Cleveland Count y Fairgrounds beginning at 6 p.m.Rison Shine Community Development, Inc. is hosting the onenight-only event to benefit two organizations in Rison - the Rison Volunteer Fire Department and the Rison Starz Dance Academy.A limited number of tickets remain available and can be purchased at the Cleveland County Herald office, 215 Main Street, or by contacting a firefighter or dancer.Tickets are $30 for an individual or $50 for a couple. The tick et includes live dancing, dinner and access to variety of raffle prizes. Dinner, catered by Mom and Pop's Cafe, includes country fried pork loin with gravy, potatoes, corn, side salad, rolls, tea and water.The unique event pairs a Rison Starz dancer with one of Rison's firemen for a friendly dance competition to raise funds for the dance studio's roof repairs and the fire station's equipment upgrades.
