Woodlawn overcame two earlier losses to Riverside this season and improved its state tournament run with strong pitching from Tyner Burris and Logan Clark. The Bears will face Palestine-Wheatley for the title Thursday in Hot Springs. Earlier in the tournament, Woodlawn beat Bigelow 9-5 behind key hits from Parker Arnold and Holderfield, then opened tournament play with an 11-1 victory over Sloan-Hendrix fueled by Tyler French’s three RBIs.
