Bears, Lady Bears Advance to State Finals

The Woodlawn Bears and Lady Bears both advanced to the Class 2A state championship games after semifinal wins over Riverside on Saturday at Palestine-Wheatley High School. The Bears edged defending champion Riverside 3-2 on a late RBI double by Hollis Holderfield and will face Palestine-Wheatley in the baseball final Thursday at Majestic Park in Hot Springs.
