More than 30 cyclists from across the state participated in the Cruisin’ Cleveland County bike ride while there was a record turnout of entries for the Cruisin’ Cleveland County Car Show!
This year’s bike ride included an all-new “gravel” route that covered 30 miles of unpaved road north of the Kingsland area. The paved routesb started and ended at the Pioneer Village in Rison with the routes, ranging from 22 to 65 miles, carrying riders through Rison, Woodlawn, Calmer, Trucksville, Rowell, Pansy, Rye, New Edinburg and Kingsland.
The car show had a wide varieties of entries, ranging from classic cars and street rods to custom trucks and antique tractors. One of the big attractions was a customized 1949 Chevrolet cab-over truck that had been extended and lowered. A custom International pickup truck was crowned Best of Show.
