Rally Extending Fiber to Internet, Landline Customers

Bruce Grubb with Cleveland County Telephone said Rally Networks, the parent company of Cleveland County Telephone, is ready to begin installing fiber optic service for both internet and landline telephones in the communities both north and south of Rison along Hwy. 35. Those include Toledo, Macedonia, Mt. Elba and the Staves community. Rally announced previously that up to 8 gigabytes of internet speed will be available to internet customers with the new area. Grubb explained that Rally is also replacing the copper telephone lines with fiber optic for a more reliable, clearer signal. Customers in those areas who want fiber optic internet service or have an existing landline to call (870) 325-6244 to make an appointment to have the service installed. Grubb explained there is no charge for the installing the fiber optic to replaced the copper phone lines.
