Rison Mayor Charles Roberts to Speak at GOP Event

Rison Mayor Charles Roberts will be the featured speaker at noon Tuesday, June 9, meeting of the Cleveland County Republican Park. The meeting, held at the Hall-Morgan Veterans Building in Rison, is open to the public.

Roberts has been leading an effort to address some of the old buildings in the downtown area and helped guide an overhaul of the city’s water system and wastewater treatment plan.

Future speakers include Bruce Grubb of Rally Networks on July 14 and Cleveland County Clerk/Circuit Clerk Brandy Herring on Aug. 11.
