BRINKLEY - Brinkley’s Christian Williams intercepted a pass in the end zone with about 14 seconds left as the Tigers survived a series of late-game blunders at Tiger Stadium to edge the Woodlawn Bears, 18-12, in a clash last Friday night to determine the no. 2 seed from the South Conference.Brinkley improved to 6-2 overall and 4-1 in South Conference play with the win, and finished second in the league.Woodlawn finished third with a 6-3 overall mark and 3-2 conference record, and will travel to Newark this Friday night to face the 8-1 Cedar Ridge Timberwolves. From all appearances, it looked as though the Tigers were ready to put the game away after intercepting a Woodlawn pass at the Bears’ 23 yard line with 4:23 left in the game.
