Gregory Dean Garlington, 71, of Graham, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, in Houston, Texas.
Born on September 10, 1953, in Cleveland County, Arkansas, he was the son of the late C.A. Garlington and Willa Faye Garlington.
Greg was a 1971 graduate of Fordyce High School.
An avid outdoorsman, Greg found joy in hunting and fishing, cherishing time spent in nature. He spoke fondly of and loved attending his community Baptist church near his home in Graham, TX.
In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his sisters, Patsy Garlington Childress and Emily Garlington Hutchins.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lily, and stepson, Tony Wang, both of Houston, Texas; his brother, Troy Garlington, of Benton, Arkansas; nephews Troy Ed Garlington of Benton, Arkansas, Jeff Childress of New Edinburg, Arkansas; nieces Angela Childress Dickman of New Edinburg, Arkansas, Tanya Childress Trivett of Fayetteville, Georgia, and Rhonda Livingston Aist of Conway, Arkansas.
A private family burial will be held at a later date.
