RISON - The annual Cleveland County Fair Tabloid is available this week online at ClevelandCountyHerald.com and on the Facebook Pages for the Herald and the Cleveland County Fair Association.
The catalog includes all entry categories and schedules for this year’s county fair scheduled for Sept. 15-19.
Printed copies will be available next week at the Herald office and the Cleveland County Extension Office.
Leading up to the fair, the Fair Association is seeking superintendents for the fair entries and judging, Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Superintendents oversee the entries in the fair and are needed for all 11 of the exhibit categories. They work closely with the fair board to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience in the educational exhibit as part of the fair.
The Fair Association is also seeking additional activities for a game day set for Saturday, Sept. 19 prior to the Miss Cleveland County pageants.
“A face painter would be a great added addition to game day if you want to volunteer,” said Karen Bell Fox. “The fair board invites all of you to participate and if you would like to sponsor an inflatable or a game, please call contact Roy Phillips 870-461-0581, John Appleget 870-692-6122 or Karen Bell Fox 870-692-4097.”
