CCSO: Report from Lt. Brad Young, 9/26-10/2

Body

Good afternoon!

I hope everyone has had a great week.

As I begin this week’s report, I’d like to take a moment to introduce our newest team member, Trevor Monk, a longtime resident of Cleveland County.

Trevor graduated from Woodlawn High School in 2017 and went on to graduate from the Arkansas State Police Academy in 2025. He and his wife, Sydney, have two children and reside near Rison.

Trevor will be joining us as a patrol deputy. Please join me in welcoming Trevor to the team. We’re excited to have him with us and look forward to the experience and dedication he will bring to our department.

The Honorable District Judge Tom Wynn has asked me to inform the public that he will be holding an “Amnesty Friday” in Cleveland County on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This will be a great opportunity for individuals with outstanding misdemeanor warrants or fines to come before the court and address these matters without fear of being arrested during the event.

If you have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant or fine, we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to get your matter addressed.
