RISON - Rison Shine Community Development, Inc. has announced dates for upcoming holiday events including Trunk-or-Treat and Christmas Parade.
This year’s Halloween event will be held on Main Street in Rison Saturday, Oct. 31 at 5:30 p.m. Vehicles can begin setting up at 4:30 p.m. with decorated trunks.
All community groups, businesses, churches and families are invited to set up and distribute candy on Halloween.
Rison Shine is accepting donations of candy for the event. Candy can be dropped off at the Cleveland County Herald office, 215 Main Street.
Moving into the Christmas season, Rison Shine has set the date and time for this year’s Christmas Parade. It will be held Thursday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m.
