Two Cleveland County residents won titles to secure a spot to compete at the Miss Arkansas and Miss Arkansas's Outstanding Teen competition next summer at Robinson Center in Little Rock. Alli Beth King was crowned Miss Southeast Arkansas 2023. This will be her second time to compete at Miss Arkansas. Alli Beth competed in 2022 as Miss Arkansas Tech University. As Miss Southeast Arkansas, she received a $2,000 scholarship to Arkansas Tech University to help further her education. As Miss Southeast Arkansas, she will spend the year expanding her Social Impact Initiative of Give Y.O.U. (Yourself To Others Unselfishly). Alli Beth is the 20 year old daughter of Davy & Kim Kaye King of Rison. She is a junior communications major at Arkansas Tech University. Kaylea Chastain was crowned Miss Grand Prairie's Outstanding Teen 2023. This will be Kaylea's first time to compete at Miss Arkansas's Outstanding Teen making her eligible for alpha competition awards. Kaylea also won overall evening gown, overall talent, and the Miss Grand Prairie 2019 Alli Beth King Overall Dance Award. She will spend her year expanding her Social Impact Initiative of Dance Your Way to Better Health. She is the 16 year old daughter of Jimmy & Krystle Chastain of Woodlawn. Kaylea is a junior at Woodlawn High School.
