CHRISTMAS TIME AT THE COURTHOUSE - Anyone passing by the Cleveland County Courthouse in Rison during the evening will certainly notice all the new lights that have been put up around the courthouse. County Treasurer Wanda Leopard said they were able to add new lights and decorations both inside and outside of the courthouse thanks to donations from both FBT Bank and Gateway Bank. Local holiday festivities continue this weekend with the Pioneer Village drive through lights open from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 16-17, and Santa Claus will be visiting the New Edinburg Community Center from 5:30 to 7:30 this Friday and Saturday, Dec. 16-17. The Cleveland County Elected Officials and the Courthouse staff would like to thank FBT Bank and Gateway Bank for their donations to purchase new decorations for the Courthouse this Christmas season. New lights, wreaths, garlands and more were placed at the Courthouse. This year's highlight is a blended tree inside the Courthouse dedicated to the Rison Wildcats and Woodlawn Bears.
