Bobby Lee Lewis, 84, of Rison, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 7, 2023. He was born December 11, 1938, at Rowell to the late James and Ruby Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Lee Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and a retired electrician. He was a faithful member of Bethel #1 Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed working outdoors, gardening, fishing and making things.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Frances Billings; his sons, Mark Lewis and his wife Wendy, and Steve Carr and his wife Nan; one brother, James Dickie Lewis and his wife Betty; grandchildren, Madelyn Lewis, TJ Lewis, Ty Vaughn and his wife Gina, Stephanie Carr Ryther, Jessica Carr Lyon and her husband Franklin; and three greatgrandchildren.
Visitation was Wednesday afternoon, October 11, 2023, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with graveside services following in Greenwood Cemetery.
