JULIE GARLINGTON, a senior at Rison High School, was named March student of the month for grades 10-12. She is the daughter of Keith and Jacki Garlington, and the granddaughter of Johnny Ray and Laverne Daniel, and Doyle and Paula Garlington. She has one brother, Brady. Her activities and honors include being member of FBLA and Beta Club, playing video games, watching movies and shows with family and going to church.
MARCELA CASTILLO, a 9th grader at Rison Middle School, was named March student of the month for grades 7-9. She is the daughter of Diana and Eder Castillo, and the granddaughter of Delfina and Gabriel Lozano, and Ernesto and Cristina Castillo. She has one sister, Jimena. Her activities and honors include being a member of RJH Cheer, Beta Club, FBLA and Rison Starz Dance Academy.
