Paws for a Cause Pageant

The third Rison Paws for a Cause Dog Pageant was held during the Rison in the Fall Festival. The annual pageant raises funds and awareness for the local animal rescue. The pageant was judged by special guests Julie Roberts, Erin Enderlin and Harley Freeman.
RISON IN THE FALL 5K OVERALL - The top three overall finishers in the Rison in the Fall 5K were (left to right) first place, Chandler Freyer (24:23); second place, Samantha Graham (24:32); and third place Julia Meyer, (25:58).

Mull Wins Murfreesboro Hare Scramble

Zachary Mull, 9, of the Herbine community,  finished first in his division at the Third Annual “Diamond in the Rough” Arkansas Hare Scramble Championship Series (AHSCS) off-road motorcycle race on Sunday, Oct. 9, in Murfreesboro. Zach is a 4th grade student at Woodlawn Elementary.
