Revised Basketball Schedules

Woodlawn Basketball at Magnet Cove Postponed

Woodlawn High School’s 8-2A conference games scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday, Jan. 27) have been postponed to noon Saturday, Jan. 31, at Magnet Cove. All other games are currently set to proceed as scheduled.

Lady Bears Fall at Poyen

POYEN - Woodlawn simply no answer for Poyen’s Kenady Barrett as she scored 36 points to pace the undefeated Lady Indians to a 60-36 win over the Lady Bears Monday at Poyen.Behind a 20-point night from Woodlawn’s Jaci Hoyt, the Lady Bears were only down 27-22 at the half.

Rison's Price Signs with SEARK College

RISON - Rison High School senior softball player Rhagen Price (seated, center) signed a letter of intent to play softball at SEARK College in Pine Bluff. Rhagen has played softball and ran cross country for 4 years. She has received all conference in both softball and cross country.

DUMAS - Dumas managed to control the game last Tuesday, Jan. 13, as the Lady Bobcats knocked off the Rison Lady Wildcats, 64-29, in an 8-3A conference game at Dumas.Game details were not available. Rison fell to 6-8 overall and 2-2 in league action with the loss.

Rison Boosters Set Hall of Fame Banquet for Feb. 21

RISON - The Rison Booster Club has announced that its second class of the Rison High School Sports Hall of Fame will be inducted during a ceremony set for Saturday, Feb. 21, at the White Hall Community Center.
