Hwy 35 Junk Hunt Runs March 9-11

RISON - The eighth annual Hwy. 35 Junk Hunt will run Thursday, March 9 through Saturday, March 11, Jennifer Via, organizer behind the Hwy. 35 and Hwy. 79-63 Junk Hunts has announced.

New Edinburg School Reunion Set For July 8

NEW EDINBURG - Re-Newing Edinburg will be the sponsor of the New Edinburg All School Reunion which has been held continuously since the mid 80s or approximately 40 years.

Kingsland School Reunion Saturday

KINGSLAND - The Kingsland All-School Reunion will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Kingsland School Auditorium, marking the first reunion after a two-year absence due to the COVID pandemic.

Old Kingsland Post Office Featured in Capitol Exhibit

LITTLE ROCK - The current Post Office Exhibit located on the main floor of the Capitol Building includes photos of Johnny Cash at the Old Kingsland Post Office along with his friend, Johnny Horton, in May 1959 while they were visiting the area on a fishing trip.

Female Veterans Photo Sessions Thursday In Rison

RISON - The Cleveland County Veterans Office will host a special photo session Thursday, Feb. 23 at the Veterans Building in Rison from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This session is for all female Veterans in the county to be part of a special program honoring the 75th anniversary of women in the service.

Mt. Zion Cemetery Meeting April 1
