BACK IN BUSINESS - Tammy Curry (right) and her daughter, Jade Pruitt (left), apply color to a client earlier this week at the Southern Roots salon on Thirs Street in downtown Rison. Curry, who previously operated Cutting Edge salon at Rye, has moved into the building formerly used by Linda Morrison to cut hair. Curry said Southern Roots will offer hair care for men, women and children as well as manicures and pedicures. She said the shop will soon be adding two tanning beds as well.
