WOODLAWN BEARS WIN MEET - All five runners for the Woodlawn Bears boys cross country team recently finished in the top 20 at the Lori McDougald Memorial Invitational meet held at Moro Bay to win their division, Coach Autumn Lem reported. FINDING THE EDGE - Woodlawn quarterback Ethan Saeler looks to get outside the Midland pursuit during second half action Friday night at the Carl Jones Sports Complex. After finishing the first half with three yards rushing on five carries, Saeler blistered the Mustang defense in the second half as he ran for 168 yards on 13 carries with three touchdowns. He also started the second half with a 57-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
