Callie Marie Weems, “Callie Jane” as her friends called her, was born January 22, 2001 at St. Frances Hospital in Monroe, LA. She passed over to Heaven on June 21, 2024.Callie was a member of the Kingsland Missionary Baptist Church and attended both New Edinburg and Kingsland First Baptist Churches.

Roy Sturgis

Roy Burton Sturgis, 50, of Kingsland died June 21, 2024 at the Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Born October 25, 1973 at Fordyce, he was a son of Edward Sturgis of Kingsland and the late Ann Sturgis.

Shirley Taylor

Shirley Kay Taylor, 62, of Fordyce, suddenly left this world on June 21, 2024. She was born July 1st, 1961 to Jim and Shirley Wooten.

Debbie Bradley

Deborah "Debbie" Bradley, 69, of Rison, passed away June 22, 2024. She was born October 26, 1954 in Pine Bluff, AR to the late Van and Ida Nadine Jones, of the "Y" Community. Debbie attended Whispering Pines Cowboy Church.

Janie Shrum

Ellen Jane "Janie" Shrum, age 81, of Fordyce, went to be with her Lord on June 23, 2024. She was born September 28, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy Ann Boiter, Joseph Boiter and Herman Bailey, and her brother Kenny Bailey.

William King

William Mike King, 76, of Franklin, TN went to be with his Lord on June 20, 2024. He was born April 1, 1948 in New Edinburg, Arkansas to the late Hilton and Cora King. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, John, Cecil and Ray King. Mr.

Rev. Victor Hugh Hunter, 93, of Warren, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 16, 2024. He was born to the late Grady Curtis Hunter and Doris Almine Dearman Hunter on March 9, 1931, at New Edinburg in Cleveland County.Victor was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.

Bonnie Joann Tullos Ellis, 85, of New Edinburg, died on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at the Green House Cottages in Rison. She was born on April 28, 1939 in Columbia, MS to the late Earl Reynolds and Ola Martin Reynolds.
