Virginia Ann Lavelock, 71, of Kingsland, died Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce.  Ann was born December 13, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  She was a 1970 graduate of Fordyce High School and a member of Kingsland Assembly of God Church in Kingsland.

Earnest Merl Johnson, 92, passed away on May 1, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 26, 1931, in Marsden, Arkansas to the late Horace Wade Johnson and Martella Robertson Johnson. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Pvt in Comp A 206 HV.TK.Bn.
