RISON - The Pioneer Village at Rison is hosting two fundraisers to help cover costs of maintenance and preservation of the historic buildings on the property. A BBQ lunch will be held Friday, Nov. 14 beginning at 11 a.m. in the Dollar General parking lot on Hwy. 79. A $10 meal includes a pulled pork sandwich, chips and a drink.
Thursday, Dec. 4, the Village will host Leon’s Catfish during its Christmas in the Village event from 4 to 7 p.m. $20 tickets for fish or chicken dinners can be purchased in advance.
