RISON - The Annual Rison Community Back-to-School Prayer Walk will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, starting at the flag pole in front of Rison High School.

RISON - Rison High School will host a special Alumni Night Friday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. during the game against Harmony Grove at George Walker Field of Champions.The special event is open to all RHS alumni. Alumni will be recognized in the stands from each decade.

Cash Statue Ceremony Is Sept. 24 in Washington

RISON - A statue of Cleveland County native Johnny Cash is scheduled to be unveiled in a ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 24, in Emancipation Hall at the U.S. Capitol in Washington. The U.S. Senate formally approved the placement of the statue last Thursday, Aug. 1.
