CALMER - Mount Olivet Methodist Church at Calmer will have its Food Bank from 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday, March 9, the church has announced. Mount Olivet is located at the Hwy. 63/ Hwy. 114 junction at Calmer. The food bank is held the second Saturday of each month.

Rison City Council Meeting Postponed

RISON - Mayor Charles Roberts announced Tuesday afternoon that the March meeting of the Rison City Council has been postponed until a later date.Roberts said he decided to reschedule the monthly meeting to allow more time for news regarding some American Rescue Plan grants to come in.
