Woodlawn’s Jude Roberts scored 33 points as the Bears opened their 2025-26 basketball season with a 72-42 win over Nemo Vista. Meanwhile, the Woodlawn Lady Bears dropped their opener, 56-33.

The Rison Lady Wildcats are off to a 1-2 start for their 2025-26 season. They opened the year wit a 49-13 rout of Crossett before fall to Fordyce, 51-39, and then to Class 5A White Hall, 58-38.
