MCGEHEE - Christian Reeves and Chandler Reeves combined for 52 points overall as they powered the Rison Wildcats to a 67-62 win over the Lake Village Beavers in the opening round of the 8-3A District Tournament at McGehee Monday night.By virtue of its victory, Rison is scheduled to face the Drew Central Pirates in the quarterfinals at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at McGehee. The Wildcats need to knock off the third-seeded Pirates in order to earn a regional playoff berth and extend their season.Neither Rison nor Lake Village was able to pull away from the other over the first three quarters as the Beavers led 28-26 at halftime and 47-44 going into the fourth.But the 'Cats battled back with their most productive period of the game, stroking four 3's to score 23 points and pull away late for the win.
