Squirrel Hunt Benefiting Local Jakes Day is Feb. 3

RISON - The Cleveland County “Cutters and Strutters” Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) will be conducting their annual fundraising event to help fund the chapter’s “Jakes” Day.    A competitive squirrel hunt will be conducted on the morning of Saturday, Feb. 3.

RISON - At least two school days will be added to the end of the 2023-24 school year for students in both the Cleveland County and Woodlawn School Districts after both had to dismiss classes Tuesday and Wednesday due to icy road conditions from the winter storm.
