Historical Society Meeting May 21

RISON - The Cleveland County Historical Society will meet Wednesday, May 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cleveland County Library for their quarterly business meeting.Anyone interested in the history of Cleveland County or their own genealogy is welcome to attend. 

Amateur Radio Demo This Saturday Near New Edinburg

NEW EDINBURG - The Cleveland County Hamsters will be setting up an Amateur Radio demonstration as part of “Parks on the Air” this Saturday, May 17, at Mark's Mill Battleground State Park  located at the Hwy. 8/Hwy 97 near New Edinburg.

West Saline Water Meeting is May 22

NEW EDINBURG - The May meeting of the West Saline Water Users Association has been moved from May 15 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 22, at the New Edinburg Community Center, the association has announced.

Rison Methodist Food Pantry May 24

RISON - Rison United Methodist Church will be hosting a food pantry from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 24.The church holds its food pantry the fourth Saturday of each month.

Kingsland 1st Baptist Hosting Widows Meal This Saturday

KINGSLAND - First Baptist Church at Kingsland, 160 Avery Street, will be hosting a Widow’s Meal at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17. There will be food, fun and fellowship. Mother Charletta Smith is president and Sis. Ericka Davis is visionary. Rev. Raymond Davis is the pastor. 

Mt. Lebanon MBC Revival June 2-4

NEW EDINBURG - Mt. Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church, located in New Edinburg, will be in revival June 2-4. Services will begin at 7 p.m.  Bro. Scott Smith will be the evangelist and Bro. Ware Russell is the pastor. The church will have a potluck dinner on June 4 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
