RISON - Registration for the third annual Cruisin' Cleveland County Bike Ride is open now.This year's event will be held Saturday, June 14 at the Pioneer Village beginning at 7 a.m.Riders will take off on one of five routes with lengths at 21, 29, 44 and 65 miles.

SKYLER WHITE - The Rison High School Student of the Month for March for grades 7-9 is Skyler White. Skyler is in the eighth grade and is the son of Amber and Blake Wilson and Blake and Emily White. Skyler is a member of FFA and was named the Cleveland County Farm Bureau Agri. Student of the Month for March. He enjoys mud riding, fishing, and hanging out with friends and family. Congratulations, Skyler!

'Free Tree Friday' This Week at Rison

LITTLE ROCK - Local residents will have an opportunity to pick up some free bare root tree seedlings during the Arkansas Department of Agriculture's "Free Tree Friday" to be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Friday, April 18, at the Pioneer Village, 200 Yaney Street in Rison.
