The annual Cleveland County Clean Up will be held Saturday, May 2 across the county from 9 a.m. to Noon, sponsored by the Cleveland County Master Gardeners and County Cultivators in partnership with Keep Arkansas Beautiful.
Three locations will be set up as meeting points. Groups will meet at the desired location to pick up supplies and then head out to pick up litter and clean up the county.
Rison: Cleveland County Courthouse, 20 E Magnolia. This is the location for Cleveland County School District students to participate, and for 9-12th grade students to earn volunteer hours.
Woodlawn: Woodlawn School, 6760 US Hwy 63. This is the location for Woodlawn students in grades 9-12 to earn volunteer hours.
Kingsland: Kingsland Missionary Baptist Church, 200 First Street.
Hot dogs and drinks will be provided to volunteers once they are done outside the Cleveland County Courthouse.
