Local Queen and Former Miss Elementary America Kindergarten Nancy Anne Lawson, is launching the Fourth Annual Handicap Barbie Drive alongside Stacy Walz, in honor of her niece Cali Walz.
The drive benefits the boys and girls at Arkansas Children's Hospital as part of Lawson's platform "Just Like ME" to inspire inclusivity and kindness. The drives have donated donated hundreds of Barbies including wheelchair, Down Syndrome, back braces, hearing impaired, vitiligo, amputee and more.
"I believe every kid should have a Barbie that looks JUST LIKE THEM," said Lawson. "Every doll makes a difference in the life of a child who deserves to see themselves represented in their toys."
Lawson set a goal for 2026 to collect another 300 Handicap Barbies to bring joy to even more kids.
