Rison Sports Hall of Fame Induction Banquet Feb. 21 at White Hall

The Rison Booster Club will host its 2026 Banquet and Sports Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at the White Hall Community Center, 9801 Dollarway Road in White Hall.The 2026 inductees into the Rison High School Sports Hall of Fame includes the 1980 Lady Wildcats’ record-setting one mile relay team (Willie B. Williams, Stephanie Barnett, Patricia Johnson and Sheila Smith), NFL football player Tyrell Johnson, state championship hurdler Ira Moore, Canadian Football League/USFL player William Miller, and the Wildcat’s 1990 state championship football that ended Barton’s nation-leading 63-game win streak. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
