BIG BOY TO PASS THROUGH CLEVELAND COUNTY - The world’s largest operating steam locomotive, Union Pacific’s Big Boy No. 4014, will be making its way through Cleveland County on Monday morning, Sept. 16. After passing through Rison, the train is scheduled to make a 30-minute “whistle stop” at the Maple Street crossing in Kingsland beginning at 11:45 a.m. Big Boy’s overall length is more than 132 and the train weighs more than 1.2 million pounds.
