Herald Launching New Free Range Podcast July 3

RISON - The Cleveland County Herald is expanding into a new media platform next week with the launch of its first podcast, Free Range Conversations, publisher Britt Talent has announced.The podcast will feature in-depth conversations covering a wide range of local topics and guests.

Murder Trial Now Underway at Rison

RISON - A jury was seated and the trial began in Cleveland County Circuit Court Tuesday in the first degree murder trial of Emily Brown, accused of killing Christopher Miller, 38, of Greenwood, on Aug. 6, 2022, at a residence in the Macedonia community about seven miles south of Rison.
