Backwoods Poultry Show Seeing Entries From Iowa, Nebraska

RISON - The Backwoods Poultry Show set for this Saturday at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds in Rison is expected to have entries from seven states, according to organizer Frankie Harper of Rison.The show will feature a variety of chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys.

Local Students Earn Degrees from ASU

JONESBORO - Arkansas State University has announced the list of students who completed degree requirements to graduate at Fall Commencement, held Dec. 16 in First National Bank Arena. The list includes graduates from 45 states and territories and 18 other countries.

USDA Commodities To Be Distributed March 9 at Kingsland

KINGSLAND - The Open Door Community Pantry located at 650 Hwy. 97 in Kingsland will be handing out USDA commodities from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9. Open Door Pantry usually distributes commodities on the second Saturday of each month. The pantry is an equal opportunity distributor.
