Cost is Up for Thanksgiving Meal

Spending time with family and friends at Thanksgiving remains important for many Americans and this year the cost of the meal is also top of mind. Farm Bureau's 37th annual survey provides a snapshot of the average cost of this year's classic Thanksgiving feast for 10, which is $64.

Dupuy Urges Unity on CCSD Facilities

Wildcats Take On Bismarck; Bears Advance to Semifinals

RISON - The Rison Wildcats and Woodlawn Bears will both try to extend their seasons this Friday night as they head into second round of the state playoffs. Rison (9-0), the 6-3A conference champions, will host the Bismarck Lions, the no. 3 seed from the 4-3A conference, at 7 p.m.

CCSB Approves Response Letter To Facilities Board

RISON - The Cleveland County School Board approved a response letter Monday night to the Arkansas Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation Commission that outlines how the district's intends to address facility needs in the future.

Pioneer Village Looking To Revive Crafts Festival

RISON - The Pioneer Village at Rison is looking to revive its Heritage Crafts Festival for Spring 2023. The event, which was a huge draw throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s, fizzled as crafting faded in that era.
