Pioneer Village at Rison will be hosting an Italian dinner next Saturday, Oct. 24, at the McMurtrey House.
The menu will consist of lasagna, bread, salad, dessert and tea/water. The meal is being prepared by Matt Harrison, who learned his craft while attending culinary school in Austin, Texas.
There are a limited number of formal dine-in seats available inside the historic McMurtrey House, which will be decorated for the affair. There will be two seatings available, one at 5 p.m. and another at 6:30 p.m. Tickets must be purchased by Tuesday, Oct. 20.
In addition, take-out/dine-out plates will be available at the Gazebo located next the McMurtrey House. Tables will be available for those who would like to dine outside.
Tickets are $20 each and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are available at the Cleveland County Herald office at 215 Main Street in Rison.
Proceeds help support improvements at the Pioneer Village.
