10  YEARS  AGOSEPTEMBER  17,  2014Cleveland is among 25 counties in Arkansas that are included in an ash quarantine, voted into action Friday by the Arkansas State Plant Board to slow the spread of the Emeral Ash Borer. The quarantined items include firewood of all hardwood species.The Cleveland County Fair is underway this week, with activities and events planned starting tomorrow and running through Saturday.The Woodlawn School Board approved the lease of two new school buses and the purchase of a used one in an effort to update the district's fleet of buses.The City of Kingsland will start enforcing four-way stops in the town after several complaints were made about motorists failing to stop at the stop signs along the three intersections on Third Street.
