KINGSLAND - The Open Door Community Pantry located at 650 Hwy. 97 in Kingsland will be handing out USDA commodities from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, one hour earlier than typical due to heat.Organizers have announced that during the summer months, the pantry will continue to operate at this time before resuming its later time when the temperatures cool down.Open Door Pantry usually distributes commodities on the second Saturday of each month from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The pantry is an equal opportunity distributor open to all residents of Cleveland County.
