SHERIDAN - The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service and the Arkansas Goat Producers Association will be hosting the South-Central Arkansas Small Ruminant Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 13, at the Grant County Fairgrounds, 4548 Hwy. 167 in Sheridan.
The workshop will focus on planning your small ruminant operation. Speakers include:
- Dan Quadros, UADA Cooperative Extension Service - Fencing options for small ruminants
- Nicole Nicols, UADA Cooperative Extension Service - Forages and pastures
- Jonathan Kubesch, UADA Cooperative Extension Service - Small ruminant care
- DVM Caleb Glover of Providence Veterinary Care - caring for ruminants.
