RISON - Rison Shine has set two more dates for community meetings following the interest gained in past revitalization meetings, President Kristy Strother has announced.A meeting will be held Monday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. focusing on beautification efforts in and around downtown Rison. Strother, along with Malinda Berry and Britt Talent will lead the meeting with a goal to target areas and organize clean up efforts.The second meeting will be held Monday, Sept. 29 with a focus on events and recreation. Douglas Boultinghouse and Stacy Walz will lead this meeting looking to expand on current events like Rison in the Fall and Community Theater productions, as well as the creation of new events.Both meetings will be held at the Hall-Morgan Veteran’s Building. Refreshments will be provided....
