RISON - All federal, state and local government offices, as well as the U.S. Post Office and banks, will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27, for the Thanksgiving holiday.However, state and local government offices, including the Cleveland County Courthouse and Rison City Hall, will also be closed on Friday, Nov. 28. The Post Office, banks and federal offices are scheduled to be open Friday, Nov. 28.County Judge Jimmy Dale Adair said the Cleveland County Solid Waste Transfer Station on Hwy. 79 at Rison will be closed Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 27-29....
