10  YEARS  AGODECEMBER  16,  2015Two men, both from the Randall area, have been arrested and charged with murder after police discovered the body of a missing pregnant woman buried in a wooded area off Rodgers Road West. Chief Deputy Gary Young of the Cleveland County Sheriff's Department said Jonathan Guenther, 20, and Brad Hunter Smith, 20, were arrested for allegedly murdering Cherrish Faith Allbright, 22, also of the Randall area. Both men are facing charges of capital murder, kidnapping and abuse of a corpse. It was the first murder in Cleveland County since 2004 and shocked local communities. The McCrory Jaguars turned back a Rison rally to edge the Wildcats, 26-22, for the Class 2A state football championship at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock Friday night. On a warm December evening, the battle was waged before an announced crowd of 6,633. While Rison was going for its ninth state crown, it marked the first title for the Jaguars, who finished 13-0 on the season.Rison finished the season at 12-2, with bookend defeats to Fordyce by three points and then McCrory in the finale by four points. That incident came a week after several parents aired complaints about discipline at the elementary school to the school board.
