10 YEARS AGO DECEMBER 9, 2015 The Cleveland County Sheriff's Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of Cherrish Faith Allbright, 22, of the Randall community. It was reported that Allbright was last seen at about 10 p.m. Thursday of last week at her grandmother's house on Rodgers Road West in the Randall community. Information gathered from family members state that Allbright received a phone call at her grandmother's house on the night of December 3, and a few minutes later a vehicle pulled up in the driveway outside the grandmother's house. Allbright went outside to apparently meet the person(s) in the vehicle and has not been seen since.The Cleveland County Quorum Court approved the county's 2016 operating budget Monday night that projects nearly $1.5 million in expenses for next year. The court also unanimously approved onetime payments to both full and part-time county employees, the first such additional pay that county workers have seen in two years.Bryson Marks rushed for 182 yards and JaQuan Henry followed with 114 yards on the ground, as the Rison Wildcats defeated the England Lions, 38-22, in the semifinals of the Class 2A state football playoffs here last Friday night. Rison had ball possession of 35:25, compared to just 12:35 for England. The Wildcats will face the McCrory Jaguars for the state championship Friday night at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.20 YEARS AGO NOVEMBER 30, 2005 A Warren man, Dennis L. Kimble, 81, died last Tuesday after his pickup truck collided with a Cleveland County School District bus near New Edinburg. It was reported that Kimble was traveling west on Hwy. 8 near New Edinburg, when he struck the back end of a school bus that was stopped to pick up students for the last day of school before the Thanksgiving break.
