GOBBLERS FROM TWO STATES - Rison Elementary student Archer Davis of the Toledo community bagged two turkeys during youth hunts in two different states. The Kansas bird had a 12 in beard, 1 1/2 inch spurs and weighed 26 lbs. The Arkansas bird had a 9 inch beard, 3/4 inch spurs and weighed 19 lbs.

Riding to Rison
ALLISON HOWARD, a 7th grader at Rison Middle School, was named April Student of the Month for grades 7-9. She is the daughter of Kirk and Jaclyn Howard, and the granddaughter of Bill and Carolyn Lowry, and John and Orpha Howard. She has two brothers, Josh and Matthew. Her activities and honors include FBLA (2nd Place Regionals, going to state), Junior Beta (5th Place Regionals), Majorettes and WCBC Youth Group and Choir.
