Midland Returns to Woodlawn As State Playoffs Begin Friday

RISON - The Woodlawn Bears will open the eight-man state playoffs by hosting the Midland Mustangs at 7 p.m. Friday night at the Carl Jones Sports Complex.Woodlawn (8-0 overall and 5-0 in conference) enters the playoff opener as the no. 1 seed from the South Conference while Midland (2-4 overall and 1-3 in conference) is the no. 4 seed from the North Conference. This will be the second time this season the two teams have faced off.
